We've had a wonderful jam-packed October and it has not even finished! 

To celebrate National Poetry Day, we held a poetry competition. We asked people to get their creative juices flowing and write a poem about Berkhamsted and the local community. The best poem won a £25.00 John Lewis voucher

We had some amazing entries and below is our winner's poem. 

A trip to Berkhamsted market town
Will turn your frown upside down
Pottery, cinema and castle too
Ashridge Estate with carpets of blue

On the note of competitions, Cobham Consulting were nominated for two awards in the Best Business Women Awards. Caroline was a finalist in the 'Best Business Women Recruitment' and 'Best Business'.

We had a lovely evening, great food, booze and we met some very inspiring women.

Although we did not win, we are very proud to have been a finalist. Over 500 applications were submitted and 50 plus applications for best business and alone! The finalists were whittled down to just 12 contenders!

Being a finalist has given us the drive to work set and work toward new targets for 2018.
