My client has a vacancy for an Internal Sales Assistant to join their sales and marketing team. The role will be office based and the key areas for the position are to:

  • Support the Sales & Marketing Manager in all sales and marketing activities
  • Prepare cost effective quotations for products and service solutions based on customer requirements
  • Follow up of sales leads and quotations and the closure of orders.
  • Help build and maintain a customer CRM and marketing database.
  • Help maintain and add copy to the company website as required.
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings and interface with customers and suppliers as necessary
  • Keep up to date with legislation and working standards

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years Sales and / or Administration Experience
  • Excellent administration skills, proficient in all MS Office Packages and CRM’s.
  • Experience in a technical sales office environment
  • Common sense and ability to adapt and learn in a fast-changing environment
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm with a strong desire to succeed and help grow sales
  • Initiative, and the ability to prioritise using sound judgement and good business sense
  • The ability to work as part of a small, dynamic team
  • Good customer empathy
  • A full UK driving licence
