Duties 

  • Motivating and driving members of the sales team to further success including developing individuals and team goals.
  • Coaching members of the team by example to improve conversions including cold calling, in/outbound enquires and internal systems
  • Developing existing and new opportunities to facilitate the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Working with the Marketing team administering direct marketing activities.
  • Research, investigate, cold call and follow up potential customers.
  • Identifying & qualifying prospects, arranging site visits / meetings for field sales representatives, liaising with various departments to produce quotations and follow up calls to ensure closure of orders / maximum conversion rates.
  • Follow up calls on targeted campaigns.
  • Responding to incoming sales calls.
  • Maintaining company CRM database.
  • Managing and building on existing relationships 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum GCSE / O-Level C Grade in English and Mathematics
  • IT literate
  • Sales / Customer Service experience essential – Would benefit from having undertaken a telesales role in the past as need to be comfortable following up on cold / warm leads.
  • Good communication skills / telephone manner and the ability to lead others by example
  • Ability to understand the technical aspects of the range of products and services.  Previous technical experience will be an advantage, but is not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Self-motivated and able to respond to the varied challenges of working for a dynamic, rapidly growing company.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks at once.
