We have an exciting opportunity to work for a small and friendly office based in Berkhamsted.

The Role:

  • Supervise and monitor the work of administrative staff
  • Organise and coordinate office operations and procedures
  • Process all customer orders with agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) daily
  • Process all customer service requests within agreed SLA daily and weekly
  • Procurement of office supplies
  • Deal with correspondence, complaints and queries
  • Implement and maintain procedures/office administrative systems
  • Delegate tasks within the administration team
  • Organise induction programmes for new employees
  • Ensure that health and safety policies are up to date
  • Travel to the Headquarters in Germany on occasion

The Candidate:

  • Basic bookkeeping skills and accounts ledger knowledge
  • Administration and Customer Service experience
  • Technical understanding
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of various software packages
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Discretion: you will often learn of confidential matters
  • Reliable, adaptable and organised
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Able to work off your own initiative with strong problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and the ability to ‘make things happen’
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to manage a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks
  • German language would be advantageous but not essential

 

This role will be Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
