The Role

We are looking for an ambitious person looking for the right opportunity to become a top sales professional in the events industry.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for sales and prove they have the drive to capitalise on the huge potential of this role.

Some sales experience is preferable but character beats experience. The company is built on a culture of great people, working hard and working together to achieve success.  Techniques can be taught, but the right attitude is a fundamental requirement for this role.

The role will initially focus on an exciting consumer event portfolio at multiple locations, within markets centring on healthier lifestyle trends including free from and organic.     

Experience and Capabilities required

The successful applicant will be able to:

  • Hit personal sales targets 
  • Demonstrate previous experience in sales (to existing and potential clients)
  • Proactively stay abreast of market developments and consistently research new sales leads and opportunities
  • Handle incoming enquires via phone, email, website and social media
  • Make proactive enquires via phone, email, website and social media
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships
  • Arrange and execute prospect sales meetings and customer account management meetings
  • Create and execute PowerPoint presentations
  • Independently develop, be able to report on personal sales strategy
  • Complete all sales administration to a high standard; consistently and in a timely manner
  • Determine relevant events to visit and conduct face-to-face prospect introductions and account management conversations
  • Respect the processes and values of the business


  • Basic of £23,000 to £25,000pa depending on experience
  • 5% commission paid on all sales
  • Permanent role (37.5 hours per week)
  • 22 days holiday (exclusive of three-day Christmas office closure and all UK bank holidays)
