Office Manager for a Financial Services Company

We are looking for an experienced office manager to work in a varied and busy role for our clients, a well established financial services company.

The role:

  • Provide day to day support and supervision and mentoring to the paraplanner and client servicing team.
  • Provide day to day support to adviser.
  • Allocate work tasks to each team member and check progress of these.
  • Deal with client enquiries and deliver a high level of client servicing in line with the firm’s ongoing client service agreements. 
  • Ensure a high level of quality of documentation is always maintained.
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA Statements of Principle & Code of Practice and the relevant FCA rules at all times.
  • Comply with the relevant Compliance, Data Protection, T&C and Anti-Money Laundering Procedures of the firm at all times.
  • Keep up to date with all relevant products, legislative or technical changes.
  • Assisting senior management in streamlining of processes.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Liaising with Landlord regarding any premises issues.
  • Encourage staff development and manage PDR process.
  • Ad hoc project work that may be required from time to time.
  • Any other reasonable tasks that may be required by the business.


  • Previous Office Management experience within Financial Services.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of record keeping requirements.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with an ability to solve any problems that may arise.
  • A good level of numeracy and IT skills.
  • Capability to explain information simply and clearly.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  • An ethical and professional approach to the role.
  • A flexible approach to work, with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Time management skills with ability to prioritise to effectively manage own workload.
  • Ability to ensure the office works in a compliant manner as detailed in the firms Compliance Manual.
