Our client is looking for someone to be responsible for the day to day management of the social media platforms and growing their online presence. The role will be busy and varied, managing the websites, content creation and organising events. You will need at least two years experience in a similar role.

 

The Role: 

  • Responsible for the day to day management of social media communities on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and others.
  • Generate compelling and engaging social media content and build a fast-paced and reactive schedule of regular updates.
  • Develop a strong social media calendar to grow a highly engaged social audience increasing brand advocacy and customer engagement, in-line with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Research and understand our target customer across all three arms of our business, primarily B2C and some B2B, and use this to shape social conversation.
  • Support with influencer led campaigns and help sourcing micro influencers to leverage content for marketing channels.
  • Plan with the Marketing team the campaigns to a 6-month horizon for eCommerce using data and trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Assist with newsletter emails using Active Campaign as well as supporting blog posts.
  • Ensure that the website is kept accurate, compliant and reflects the marketing and promotional strategy.
  • Amplify all PR coverage by ensuring its timely inclusion on the website and across social media platforms.
  • Work with our external agencies to ensure brand consistency across all consumer touch points.
  • Using the customer segmentation tools and Google analytics recommend and create engaging eCRM communications to the database.
  • Assist with the execution of all events including annual photoshoots and press events and ensure every event is supported through all social media prior, during and after.
  • Using effective questioning and breadth of research to investigate and stay abreast of political, economic, social and industry specific trends and keep up to date with industry news.
  • Work with the sales team and marketing team to assist with developing a strategy for engaging with current and past customers to encourage customer loyalty and order value, primarily with email funnels using Active Campaign.

Requirements:

  • Experience in content creation and be able to show success in high engagement social media growth.
  • Digital Marketing (B2C and B2B)
  • Creative individual who can help us achieve ambitious growth targets and support exciting plans and development within the business.
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Previous use of Tailwind or similar for scheduling social media posts
  • Experience in graphics and editing desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with good interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills, deadline orientated with ability to prioritise and plan
  • Pro-active independent worker and self-starter, able to take own initiative and manage own time effectively.
