We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our clients, a well-established financial services company in Dorking. The role will be providing day to day support to the Advisors and Paraplanners.

 

There are opportunities to progress and even study for financial qualifications.

 

The role:

  • Offer general support to the Financial Advisers, Paraplanner and Compliance team
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all team members
  • Processing of online applications and manual fund switches
  • Scanning documents on to system
  • Liaise with Providers for policy information and communicate outcomes
  • Liaise with advisers to ensure review process is followed
  • Obtain valuations
  • Highlight any outstanding client reviews not carried out by advisers
  • Process new business applications and track them to completion
  • Reconcile commissions on a monthly basis
  • Prepare documentation for client appointments
  • Undertake other office duties such as filing, post and minute-taking at meetings
  • Booking of meeting rooms
  • Sending prepared documentation to clients
  • Respond to client inquiries over the telephone and/or by letter
  • Updating of back-office systems as needed
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules at all times
  • Comply with the relevant Compliance, Data Protection, TCF, T&C, Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Procedures of the firm at all times

 

Requirements:

  • Accurate and ability to work under pressure
  • A financial qualification or interest to study one
  • Good administration and numeracy with a high degree of accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel packages essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with ability to effectively manage own workload
