The Marketing & Sales Executive will have a dual role focusing on developing the marketing campaigns, as well as driving new business leads for sales.   

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Drafting and implementing the marketing plan to promote the company brands and initiatives
  • Website management – input event content, regularly update, post news etc
  • Email communications - develop content for e-newsletters, event emails and invites, including testing, evaluating, and reporting
  • Maintaining and updating databases and data management – maintenance of existing data, sourcing new data and inputting it into CRM
  • Social media:
    • Developing and curating content for social media accounts
    • Growing social media followers
    • Promoting resources via social media
  • Desk research to identify, generate and qualify new business opportunities for follow up by the sales team, using customer relationship development, cold calling, attendance at industry related events, market searching and deploying the pipeline process.  Providing weekly reports
  • Create sales and sponsorship collateral that demonstrates the benefits, features, and value of products/services to their target audience
  • Maintaining company image by following brand guidelines
  • Managing the production of marketing materials, including guides, leaflets, brochures and e-newsletters
  • Writing and proofreading copy
  • Liaising with designers and printers

Entry requirements, the ideal candidate will: 

  • Be educated or have experience in a related field
  • Have commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate an interest in marketing and/or business development
  • Have an understanding of the marketing mix and different marketing techniques
  • Confident at publishing on all social media platforms
  • Have good organisation and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Be a great team player with good communication skills, the ability to use their initiative and work to deadlines
  • Be competent at writing with excellent attention to detail
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office including good excel skills and willing to learn about other software such as design, web, email, CRM and event registration systems
  • Be well presented with a professional manner 


Salary from £18,000 to £20,000pa depending on experience, 25 days holiday and 4% employers pension contribution
