Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are looking for someone who is looking to build a career in recruitment, working for a local company who are expanding.

The role:

  • Candidate Sourcing (searching job boards, databases & LinkedIn, utilising social media platforms, exploring all avenues where we might find the best new team member for our clients)
  • Matching candidates with job vacancies (understanding skills required, how the candidate will fit into the client’s culture, etc.)
  • Speaking to candidates – usually this will be a telephone screening, skype and face to face interview
  • As the role grows, the natural progression is for you then to speak to clients too
  • Arranging interviews (ensuring the interview is arranged promptly, diary/calendar invites sent, interview confirmation sent, feedback timescales agreed and so on)
  • Involvement with marketing to both clients and candidates
  • Some general administration

This role offers a fantastic career path and learning opportunity, you will be able to grow into a Consultant role and also be given opportunities to study for your recruitment qualification.  

Requirements:

  • Computer Literacy (Outlook, Word etc.)
  • Good telephone manner
  • Motivated and enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • Team Player
  • An keen interest in recruitment and working within your community helping candidates find jobs.
