We are currently recruiting for a Tech Support Assistant for our fantastic client based in Tring who are experts in their field.

The successful candidate will provide technical support in B2B and B2C role. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and evolve within a progressive and growing company.

Full Time, Permanent role, Office Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility

The Role:

  • Responsible for providing first line support for all IT queries to customers
  • Following instructions, either written or in diagram form, in order to set up a system or fix a fault
  • Explaining technical subjects clearly and precisely
  • Escalating calls appropriately to ensure all Service Level Agreement targets are maintained
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Date entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Organising Installation & configuration
  • Logging the queries of customers and employees
  • Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Maintenance & monitoring
  • Analysis of call logs in order to discover any underlying issues or trends.

 

Requirements:

  • IT skills or background, desirable
  • Capable of working well under pressure
  • Excellent Customer Service, Communication Skills and Telephone Manner
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
