Account Manager


Bracknell and Clerkenwell

We are looking for an excellent relationship builder to work with our creative clients – you will be based on site in Bracknell 4 days per week and then working in their London office in Clerkenwell 1 day per week.

The role:

  • Plan projects further in advance and pre-empt what might happen
  • Manage multiple large scale projects 
  • Actively move towards a full understanding of the production process
  • Help clients to set deadlines and provide a consultative service to them  
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships on allocated accounts 
  • Gain the foresight of what the client might need in future 
  • Manage large client teams (e.g. project teams of 5-10 people) 
  • Liaise with all suppliers, including client suppliers, artwork houses, photographers - ensuring all deadlines understood, all information delivered on time and in useable formats
  • Manage the internal team around you - manage sideways as well as up
  • Keep everyone constantly informed, understand their needs and manage their individual expectations 
  • Ensure Account Directors and Head of Studio Planning are aware of changes to weekly resourcing
  • Monitor projects through the studio, working closely with the creative team
  • Brief creative team on minor development and refinement briefs 
  • Maintain 100% accurate files
  • Ensure that all client communications are accurately recorded and shared with client and relevant internal parties
  • Understand budgeting i.e. ability to estimate time and costs on projects (multiple stage project proposals and individual stages)
  • Know at all times the financial situation on projects 
  • Be responsible for on time billing of stages. Check and sign off invoices
  • Ensure clients approve estimates, obtain necessary approval approvals and purchase orders 
  • Ensure that purchase orders for suppliers are raised
  • Highlight potential overruns, delays or other issues to relevant senior manager
  • Completion of all order forms before purchase of services, having agreed purchase price with Account Directors
