An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to provide key support to our clients Finance Director.

Hours 9.00 to 5.30 Mon - Friday

Duties to include:

  • Adding all transactions to Quick books, and reconciling key accounts
  • Processing monthly journals
  • Adding transactions onto the bank for approval
  • Raising sales invoices and chasing up any late payment
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Processing expense / Overtime claims
  • Operating petty cash
  • Reconciling / investigating queries on overdue commission and fees received using our CRM system Intelligent Office (training will be provided)
  • Checking unmatched fees/commission and resolving any queries raised by staff
  • Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc duties

Experience Required:

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an accounts or bookkeeping department
  • You will be highly organised and pay excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure to given deadlines
  • A can-do attitude is essential
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks advantageous but not essential as training will be given
