We are looking for an experienced technical support engineer in IT/ telecoms for a permanent position.  You will provide technical support remotely over the phone or on site at the customers' premises. 

 

Requirements:

  • A computer science or telecommunications technical degree
  • Experience in first and second line support
  • Knowledge of configuring and maintaining software systems and IT networks (e.g. routers and firewalls, Windows servers)
  • Good quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Well organised
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines under time pressure
  • Commutable distance from St. Albans
